My Story

I’m just an average guy  who has had his share of challenges in life. The only difference is I made a decision to change my future and took immediate action.

Once I made that decision, I vowed to never be in a position where I didnt have control of my life.

You see back in 2005 my employer SBC Communications decided to downsize the workforce and layoff many employees. Let me tell you, that scared the crap outta me. Just the thought of losing everything I had worked for at this point in my life just didnt sit well with me.

I felt more betrayal from the company than anything else. All the hard work I put in, all the 14 hour days, all the nights working at 2am in the freezing cold just to make sure the customer gets their phone service.

Fortunately, I survived the layoff and continue to have the job of my dreams, but it sure exposed something to me that I was not prepared for…..JOB INSECURITY…

I thought of getting a second job, just in case I was laid off but how was I gonna do that? I was working 10-14 hours a day, it’s not like I was desperate for more money…..It was JOB SECURITY I thought I was looking for.

After weeks of desperatly trying to find a way to give me what I was looking for, it seemed the only option was NETWORK MARKETING.

I wasn’t too thrilled because I’m not a salesperson, I didn’t like the “pyramid” thing, and I didn’t think people made money at it.

And besides, I tried the business 2 years prior and I failed miserably. I was bugging everyone I knew and turning all my family and friends into strangers.

Being that I was already a consumer in a network marketing nutritional company, I decided to take it to another level and “do the business”.

My journey began, I set out to find people who had what I wanted and I partnered with a few documented millionares and just did everything they did.

At this point, things started to look up for me and my confidence just skyrocketed through the roof. I just felt like a new man with a vision to take on the world.

I became a man who believed that I could create any posibility I choose in this lifetime. It just seemed like the world was my playground.

After a few years in network marketing and thousands and thousands of dollars in my bank, I felt like I found my niche.

I mean what a dream to be able to have a job I absolutely love, work a business part time and make thousands of dollars, retire my wife from her job and be able to stack my money to the roof……

Life was great but then the economy took a dump and business started to follow suit.

It seemed like someone poked a hole at the bottom of my money bucket. I was recruiting people in the business just as fast as they were quiting.

At this point I found myself working 5 and 6 times harder and I knew something was wrong. All of a sudden this bussiness wasnt fun anymore.

So we did the stupidist thing, we switched companies and the same thing was going on. That’s when I realized it wasnt the company or the economy, it was us and our marketing strategies.

We were using strictly offline old school prospecting techniques that were outdated.

So my hunger began and the search was on for a better way to grow my network marketing business. I didnt wanna quit, I just knew there was a better way where I could create some type of leverage.

After a year of searching the internet, thousands of dollars spent on E-books,dvd’s, training courses, and seminars…I partnered up with some internet marketers that took all the excruciating pain and suffering away.

You see, internet marketing can be an incredible thing to learn but let me tell you, it’s time consuming if you don’t have the right mentor to show you the way.

Trust me I know, I spent alotta money and countless nights staying up late trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together. It was tough….

Thank god I knew just how powerful my intentions were when I decided I was gonna create the possibility to become financially free.

Of course I failed miserably for the first 2 years of my network marketing career and i’m thankful I felt what it was like to work hard and struggle and endure challenges and setbacks.

That time of defeat and failure taught me more about my self than anything else. I just knew that I knew my purpose in life was hiding amidst somewhere in this hopeless situation.

You ask why am I telling you this?

Because when I was struggling all it took was someone else’s story to touch, move and inspire me to keep going towards what I really wanted.

That unquenchable thirst for some type of freedom, even if it was just a little bit.

In closing, I challenge you to look within yourself and find your real “WHY”. When you find it, seek out someone who has exactly what you want and do what they do.

And when you do it, be sure to attack it with so much overwhelming power that the challenges in your way don’t even have a chance.

This blog is dedicated to those of you who seek to live more than just a normal life. Don’t just exist in this world…
